Daily Star - Arrest warrants issued for Fatah al Islam suspects - December 08,2009

BEIRUT: First Investigating Judge in Beirut Ghassan Owaydat issued two arrest warrants on Monday against two suspects for being part of the Al-Qaeda inspired militant group Fatah al-Islam. Owaydat also postponed on Monday the questioning of Fadi Ghassan Ibrahim, known as “Sigmo,” who was also suspected of being a member of Fatah al-Islam. Clashes erupted between the terrorist group and the Lebanese Army in 2007 in north Lebanon, leaving the Nahr al-Bared Palestinian refugee camp in ruins. – The Daily Star
