Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar has revealed that Special Tribunal for Lebanon Antonio Cassesse will visit Lebanon within the coming weeks to finish off his investigation into the assassination of former PM-Rafik Hariri.
Najjar pointed in an interview with MTV that the documents relating to the work of the tribunal have been transferred to Court after their translation had been completed.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Prosecutor of the STL announced that its Chief of Investigation Naguib Kaldas will be departing the international tribunal at the end of his contract on February 28, 2010 to return to his home country, Australia, where he will resume his duties as Deputy Commissioner of the New South Wales Police.
