The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

January 9, 2010 - Daily Star - Special Tribunal appoints new spokesperson

The Public Affairs Office of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) on Friday announced the appointment and arrival of a press officer/spokesperson. Fatima el-Issawi joins the STL in the Netherlands after 15 years of work as investigative journalist reporting on the Middle East for various international and Arab media organizations, including Agence France Presse and the BBC World Service. She holds a PhD in media studies from Paris II University. – The Daily Star
