The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

April 17, 2010 - Naharnet - STL Acting Registrar Says Nasrallah's Cooperation Remarks 'Positive'

The Acting Registrar of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Herman von Hebel, on Friday described the latest remarks of Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on cooperation with the investigation as "positive", noting that all parties are cooperating with STL's work.In an interview with Future News television, von Hebel stated the tribunal's readiness to execute the requirements of any indictment issued by STL Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare.He quoted Bellemare as saying that the investigation is advancing "positively," adding that the tribunal has developed a witness protection program capable of ensuring the safety of the witnesses away from any kind of pressures, whether they were in Lebanon or any other country in the region.
