Sakr urges death penalty for collaborator with Israel

BEIRUT: Government Commissioner to the Military Tribunal Judge Sakr Sakr demanded Monday the death penalty for Ibrahim Amin al-Baba for collaborating with Israel in return for money. Baba was accused of contacting the Israeli enemy and entering its territories several times. He was also charged with providing Israel with information about movements and headquarters of Hizbullah as well as Al-Jihad al-Islami, the organization he was a member of. Sakr referred Baba to the First Military Prosecutor Riyad Abu Ghayda. – The Daily Star
