The March 14 General-Secretariat stressed Wednesday that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon is a Lebanese demand that the March 14 forces have presented many sacrifices to achieve.
It reaffirmed its "complete trust" in the tribunal after its weekly meeting, and noted in a statement that "objections over the STL should be brought up before it according to the appropriate legal mechanisms."
It welcomed the Lebanese state's decision to deploy army units south of the Litani and considered it part of its commitment to the implementation of international resolutions, especially 1701.
The General-Secretariat also condemned the latest Israeli threats against Lebanon and its government.
Furthermore, it welcomed the upcoming visits of Arab leaders to the country and commended the decisions of the founding conference of the Mustaqbal Movement.
