Following a Thursday press conference held in Achrafieh, the Moultazimoun Movement issued a statement that it supports the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
This comes after March 14 and March 8 figures exchanged a war of words following Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s claims earlier in July that the tribunal will name some of his party’s members in its pending indictment for the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
The Hezbollah chief also said the indictment would create sectarian conflict in Lebanon.
The movement's general coordinator, Najib Zouein, said that there are pressures and threats that aim to prevent the STL from achieving justice.
