BEIRUT - Lebanese Forces bloc MP Antoine Zahra told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Thursday that the false-witnesses issue was part of a legal study set up by the Council of Ministers and assigned to Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar. He pointed out that all parties were awaiting the results of that study and any prejudgment would be useless for what Minister Najjar would unveil.
Zahra stressed that any unproven innocence by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon would be meaningless, "otherwise, any position would be of politial order and we won't comment it". He pointed to the continuous talks among March 14 Coalition forces, empasizing the latter's solid commitment to the principles and fundaments of the Coalition.
