The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Dead cow found in sea - September 8, 2010

The National News Agency (NNA) reported on Wednesday that a dead cow was found dumped in the sea facing the shore of Tyr in South Lebanon.

Last month, authorities recovered several dead cows that were dumped in the sea in the North, after which arrest warrants have been issued for the captains of three ships suspected of dumping the cows in Lebanese waters.
