BEIRUT: A Syrian national has been charged with carrying out a hand grenade attack against the Free Patriotic Movement earlier this month, which caused no casualties. The government’s delegate to the Military Tribunal, Saqr Saqr, Thursday charged Syrian detainee Rani Adel Waraah for tossing a grenade at an office of the FPM in Beit Shebab, Metn. on Jan. 14 . The charges filed against Waraah, before he was referred to the first military investigative judge, called for the death penalty if he is found guilty. – The Daily Star
