Lebanon news - NOW Lebanon -An-Nahar: Hezbollah’s priority is to stop the STL

“Hezbollah’s priority [in the country] is still to stop the work of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL),” said a source close to Hezbollah in an interview published on Monday.
“The cabinet should take a position against the STL immediately after its formation,” the anonymous source told An-Nahar newspaper..
The source also said that Hezbollah is staying quiet for the moment to preserve Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati’s consultations on cabinet formation, “to avoid embarrassing [Mikati] in front of [the Sunnis] and to allow [the PM-designate] to freely express his opinion.” However, the source did not elaborate further.
