BEIRUT: Three arrests for drug crimes and theft took place across the country Wednesday, according to the National News Agency. Police from Ras Baalbek arrested a man wanted on an arrest warrant for drug crime and allegedly found Benzhexol tablets in his possession. The man was then transferred to the Drug Control Office in Bekaa. In the Beirut southern suburb of Kafaat, Mount Lebanon police arrested a man, 44, wanted on theft and drug use, and reportedly found a pistol in his possession. In Sodeco, security forces patrol caught a man red-handed stealing a tape deck from inside a Honda, which turned out to be stolen in Beirut on Jan. 3. The suspect and the stolen car were then transferred to the Office of International Crimes.– The Daily Star
