Now Lebanon - It’s women’s right to participate in politics, says Sleiman - March 10, 2011

President Michel Sleiman voiced the importance of improving women’s role in society. He said it is important to work to end all forms of discrimination against women in Lebanon, according to a statement issued by his press office.

Lebanese women have every right to participate in the country’s political life, Sleiman said on the occasion of International Women’s Day. He congratulated all Arab women, particularly Lebanese.
