BEIRUT: One of five detainees who broke out of a detention center in Baabda last week was rearrested Tuesday, a security source said.

The source told The Daily Star that Mohammad Hussein, 20, was recaptured near al-Ahd Institute in Ouzai, south of Beirut.

A group of five men escaped the Baabda detention center over the weekend after creating a gap in the iron window grill of their cell.

The other four – identified as Ali Naji Hassan, 19, Majid Mohammad Abdo, 21, Yasser Ali Abdullah, 22, and Mohammad Zein Ahmad, 54 – remain at large, according to the source.
