The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Suspect indicted in bid to kill Fatah commander - September 09, 2011


BEIRUT: Military Investigating Judge Imad Zein indicted a man identified as Mahmoud A. in the attempted assassination of the commander of the Palestinian Armed Struggle faction of Fatah.
Mahmoud Abdel-Hamid Issa, also known as Leeno, in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp last month.
Zein interrogated Mahmoud A. at Labib Medical Center in Sidon, then issued an arrest warrant against him and four other members of the Islamist group Jund al-Sham for acts of terrorism.
The four other Palestinians were identified as Bilal B., Ziyad N., Ziyad Sh. and Bilal Q.
