The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Girl kidnapped in Saida, May 11 2012


A girl identified as Basma as-Sabaa was kidnapped on Thursday night in the southern city in Saida, the National News agency reported.
Sabaa was driving her car when three unknown people in a Mercedes with a white, red and olive-green paint job blocked her way and proceeded to assault and then abduct her to an unknown location.
