BEIRUT: A Lebanese man has been sentenced to three years prison for collaborating with the Israeli state, judicial sources told The Daily Star Thursday.
The sources said that Zaki Ali Idriss, 55, from the Bekaa Valley, was sentenced late Wednesday night by Beirut’s military court on charges of collaborating with Israel, providing it with information and entering the Jewish state.
Separately, Military Investigating Judge Imad Zein issued an arrest warrant Thursday for K. Nehmeh on charges of maintaining contact with Israeli agents.
