The Daily Star - Man and daughter held on on murder charge, May 11 2012

BEIRUT: A man and his 19-year-old daughter have been detained on suspicion of involvement in a murder in Aley.
A statement by the Internal Security Forces said that Bassem Tarabay, 46, disappeared last Thursday and his abandoned car was discovered in Basatin, Aley, while his burned body was discovered three days later in the area of Jisr al-Qadi.
On the same day as the discovery of the body, the ISF detained a man, 56, identified by his initials A.N., and his young daughter, R.N., in connection with the crime.
The ISF said the man confessed to killing Tarabay at the latter’s home in Kfar Matta, for “personal reasons.”
