The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - STL’s Roux meets with Beirut Bar Association chief chief, June 7 2012


Special Tribunal for Lebanon Defense Office chief François Roux visited  Beirut Bar Association President Nohad Jabr, the National News Agency reported on Thursday.
The report added that Roux and Jabr discussed the work process of the STL Defense Office as well as the required training for Lebanese lawyers in international justice.
Four Hezbollah members have been indicted by the UN-backed STL for former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s murder. However, the Shia group strongly denied the charges and refused to cooperate with the court.
