The Foreign Ministry filed a complaint on Sunday to the United
Nations against Israel after its forces abducted a citizen on June 29.
Youssef Zahra was kidnapped by an Israeli infantry patrol in Marj
al-Teiss.
The Lebanese army described the move as an encroachment on
Lebanese sovereignty.
The Foreign Ministry meanwhile deemed the violation as a
“provocation that serves to increase tensions along the border.”
It is a threat to civil peace and international security, said the
complaint.
