BEIRUT: Police apprehended a man Friday in the neighborhood of Dora in
Greater Beirut after his decision to wear women’s clothing to escape arrest
backfired. Security sources told The Daily Star that the man, 19, was dressed
in women’s clothing because he had several outstanding warrants in his name for
car theft. Police had a photograph of the man in their possession and were
looking for him, but his disguise failed because of his thick mustache, the
security sources said.
