BEIRUT: The Military Tribunal sentenced a woman Thursday in absentia to
10 years of hard labor for acquiring Israeli citizenship, judicial sources told
The Daily Star. Joumana Hasbani was convicted of the crime, considered a type
of contact with the state of Israel, and was stripped of her civil rights as
well.
