TRIPOLI, Lebanon: A Lebanese worker
for Sky News Arabia and a Canadian female journalist were wounded by sniper
fire while covering clashes in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli Friday,
security sources said.
Hussein Nahle and the Canadian
journalist who was not immediately identified were with other journalists at a
roundabout close to the fighting.
Clashes had erupted anew in Tripoli after the
killing of a Salafist sheikh overnight between supporters and opponents of
