The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Annahar - Lebanon, Saida Dump, September 24 2012

علمت "النهار" ان مؤتمرا صحافيا سيعقد في 4 تشرين الاول للاعلان عن مناقصة لتسوية اوضاع مكب صيدا للنفايات وتحويله حديقة عامة. وقد اطلقت الخطوات الاولى للمشروع على ان تستكمل في 8 تشرين الاول. وستستغرق العملية سنتان ونصف السنة. يذكر ان قبرص تقدمت بـ16 دعوى قضائية ضد لبنان بسبب النفايات التي يحملها البحر من مكب صيدا مطلع كل شتاء الى شواطئها.
