July 18, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Nasrallah’s take on STL is “harmful mistake,” says European source

An anonymous European diplomatic source said that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s labeling of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) as an “Israeli project” is a mistake, adding that it “harms Hezbollah,” Ad-Diyar newspaper reported.

Not only is Nasrallah’s take on the STL unhelpful to Hezbollah, but it harms the party, the source said.

Nasrallah said on Friday an indictment by the STL is an “Israeli project” designed to target Hezbollah by stirring up sectarian strife in Lebanon.
