July 23, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Sectarian strife if Hezbollah is indicted by STL

A political source told As-Safir newspaper in an article published on Friday that if the Special Tribunal For Lebanon (STL) indicts members of Hezbollah for being involved in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, then “Lebanon will not necessarily witness armed clashes but rather the return of bombings through a chaotic sectarian strife.”

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said during a press conference held on Thursday PM Saad Hariri told him in May that the STL will indict Hezbollah members.
