The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Kanaan says he can question Karam investigation leaks, September 6, 2010

Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan told OTV on Monday that he has the right to question the leaks to the media about the investigation of retired Brigadier General Fayez Karam, a Free Patriotic Movement official arrested in August for allegedly spying for Israel.

Kanaan asked who is the authority that handled the investigation and leaked information on the case’s details.
