Now Lebanon - Najjar finalizes report on false witnesses in Hariri murder case - September 14, 2010

An-Nahar newspaper reported on Tuesday that Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar finalized his assignment on the issue of witnesses who gave false testimonies to the investigation of the 2005 assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri. However, the daily added that Najjar refuses to disclose his report before submitting it to the cabinet.

The cabinet delegated Najjar to follow up on the issue last month. However, March 8 parties – including Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement – have called for forming a Lebanese commission to follow up on the false witnesses’ issue.
