The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan - Berri received Palestine Liberation Organization's representative in Ain El-Tine - June 23, 2011

House Speaker Nabih Berri received on Thursday at his residence in Ain El-Tineh the Palestine Liberation Organization's representative Abdullah Abdullah with talks featuring high on latest developments at the Arab scene as well as on the Palestinian situation. 

Abdullah felicitated Berri on the government formation deeming it a step towards reestablishing stability in Lebanon and the region. 

Separately, Berri met with the head of Arab-British organization, Nazmi Ouji and former head of High Judicial Council, Judge Ghaleb Ghanem.
