Mirza met with Special Tribunal for Lebanon President Judge Sir David
Baragwanath and Vice President Judge Ralph Riachi, the National News Agency
reported on Wednesday.
The report also said that Mirza
and Baragwanath discussed the tribunal’s ongoing investigation into the 2005
assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Four Hezbollah members have
been indicted by the UN-backed STL in Hariri’s murder. However, the Shia group
strongly denied the charges and refused to cooperate with the court.
