BEIRIUT:
Two Syrian men traveling by land from Homs, Syria, were kidnapped Monday, their
relatives said.
According
to security sources, who spoke to The Daily Star on condition of anonymity,
Abdel-Baset Dalla and Abdo Dalla said their nephew Atef Dalla, 25, and his
brother Abdel-Latif Dalla, 40, were kidnapped while they were driving on the
road leading to and from Rafik Hariri International Law.
They said they received a
call from an anonymous person demanding $5,000.
