The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

November 17, 2009 - Annahar - Yemen Kidnap Japanese Engineer

خطف مهندس ياباني قرب صنعاء

صنعاء (اليمن) - و ص ف - خطف مسلحون تابعون لاحدى القبائل مهندسا يابانيا الاحد قرب صنعاء مطالبين بمبادلته بفرد من ابناء قبيلتهم معتقل لدى السلطات اليمنية.
وقال مسؤول محلي في بلدة ارحاب، على مسافة 40 كيلومتراً شمال شرق صنعاء، طالبا عدم ذكر اسمه ان المهندس الياباني خطف بينما كان متوجها الى قرية تابعة لمنطقته للاشراف على بناء مدرسة.
ولم يكن المسؤول قادراً على تحديد هوية هذا المهندس العضو في بعثة يابانية للتعاون تشرف على تنفيذ برنامج مساعدات ياباني لليمن.
