August 10, 2010 - Naharnet - Aoun: Nasrallah's Valuable Evidence Enough to Open New Hariri Murder Probe

Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun said evidence presented by Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was enough to open a new investigation into ex-Premier Rafik Hariri's assassination. "There is valuable evidence and is worth taking it into consideration," Aoun told Hizbullah's al-Manar TV. Nasrallah presented aerial reconnaissance footage of areas frequented by Hariri, including where he died. He said this proved Israel was tracking his movements for purposes of assassination. Aoun said that Lebanese officials are careful not to take the same routes as ordinary people do avoid killing attempts.
