The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

August 2, 2010 - Iloubnan - Moallem says Lebanon stability in danger

BEIRUT – During a lecture at Damascus University, Syrian Foreign Affairs Minister Walid Moallem stated that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon couldn’t continue its work while being a political tool used by foreign powers, Voice of Lebanon radio station reported o Monday. “This means that the stability of Lebanon is in danger. Lebanon’s stability depends on the neutrality of the Tribunal”, he said, quoted by the VOL.
