August 10, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Nasrallah’s accusation based on political realism

An-Nahar newspaper quoted on Tuesday an unnamed source as saying that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s accusation that Israel is behind the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri is based on political realism, which focuses on security concerns.

Nasrallah presented alleged evidence—including footage he said came from Israeli Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) monitoring Rafik Hariri and a confession from a suspected Israeli spy—in an aim to implicate Tel Aviv in the Hariri assassination.

The Hezbollah chief deflected criticism of his alleged proof by admitting that his evidence is not conclusive during his Monday press conference, the source added.
