August 4, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Hajjar says Nasrallah discussed STL calmly and objectively

Lebanon First bloc MP Mohammad al-Hajjar said at a press conference held on Wednesday that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah calmly and objectively addressed the issue of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) in his Tuesday speech, Al-Markaziya news agency reported.

He added it is important to continue the search for those behind the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. “Anyone with information related to the murder should present it to the STL,” he said.

In his speech Tuesday, Nasrallah said that in an August 9 press conference he will reveal irrefutable evidence proving that Israel was behind Hariri’s killing.

He also praised the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) for its performance during Tuesday’s border clashes with the Israeli army, which were the fiercest since the 2006 July War, with two Lebanese soldiers, a journalist and a senior Israeli officer dying in the violence.
