The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star- STL defense head briefs Aoun on work, meets Hariri, February 18 , 2017

BEIRUT: The head of the Defense Office at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Francois Roux, concluded a five-day visit to Lebanon Friday, the STL said in a statement. During his visit, Roux met President Michel Aoun in order to congratulate him on his election and to brief him about the work of the Defense Office and the support it provides to the defense teams. Roux was also received by Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Justice Minister Salim Jreissati and MP Walid Jumblatt. He also met members of the diplomatic community based in Lebanon, as well as Internal Security Forces chief Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Basbous.
