BEIRUT: A blaze Saturday destroyed large parts of a makeshift Syrian camp in east Lebanon, the state-run National News Agency reported.
Three people suffered shortness of breath in the fire, which erupted at an encampment in Taanayel in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley.
They were treated in a hospital.
The NNA said that firefighters and Lebanese Red Cross ambulances rushed to the scene.
The Civil Defense said in a tweet that its teams managed to control the fire.
The NNA later said the fire was believed to have been caused by a gas leak.
