The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Iloubnan - Mirza hands over 2 reports to STL, September 20, 2011

General Prosecutor Judge Said Mirza handed over on Monday the STL delegation with two reports, the first including information about the assassination attempts of former Ministers Elias Murr and Marwan Hamadeh in addition to the secretary general of the Lebanese Communist Party (LCP) Georges Hawi. As for the second report, it includes detailed information on exerted efforts to execute arrest warrants STL had requested regarding Rafic Hariri assassination case, The national News Agency reported. By so, the Lebanese judiciary has no longer the Hawi, Hamadeh, and Murr dossiers under its responsibility, the report added.
