The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Five escape detention center in Baabda - June 04, 2011

BEIRUT: A group of five men have broken out of a detention center in Baabda, police sources said Saturday.
The five men made their escape after they shattered a window at a detention center at Baabda’s Justice Palace, the sources said.
The men were identified as Ali Naji Hassan, 19, Majid Mohammad Abdo, 21, Yasser Ali Abdullah, 22, Mohammad Hussein Shukr, 20 and Mohammad Zein Ahmad, 54.
Investigations are under way into the incident and steps have been taken to secure the detention center.
