The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Ministerial statement clause on STL may be finalized today, says source - June 29, 2011

An unnamed minister told NBN television on Wednesday that the committee tasked to draft the ministerial statement may formulate the article pertaining to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon later in the day, adding that the committee will meet again on Thursday or Monday.
MTV also reported on Wednesday that the committee may meet tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. to finish drafting the ministerial statement.
Following its June 13 formation, Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s government tasked a committee comprised of 10 ministers representing the cabinet’s factions to draft a ministerial statement.
The committee is debating over how to approach the issue of the STL.
