The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan - Five minutes protest to the absence of women in current cabinet - June 28, 2011


the Women’s Movement lebanese group called on Lebanese citizens to stop working for five minutes today from 12 till 12:05 pm in protest to the abscence of women in Mikati's Cabinet.
 
It also asked drivers to honk their horns an step their vehicles for five minutes.
