The Daily Star - Media leaks on STL indictment is pure speculation: Hogassapian - June 28, 2011

BEIRUT: Future Parliamentary bloc MP Jean Hogassapian said Tuesday that media leaks that an indictment in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri will be issued is “pure speculation,” adding that no official information has been released yet.
"We do not have any information when the indictment will be issued," the March 14 lawmaker said .
Hogassapian also warned against rescinding Lebanon's commitment toward the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, saying this would expose Lebanon to further political instability and would “prompt the international community to label Lebanon as a failed state."
The STL, established in 2007 and tasked with bringing to justice those involved in the assasination of Hariri in 2005, is widely believed to name members of Hezbollah, a leading party in the March 8 coallition. Hezbollah denies involvement in the killing of the former statesman.
Hogassapian said the STL was designed to put an end to the series of assassinations in Lebanon and warned against making premature statements before the court issued its indictment.
