The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Police confiscates illegal cellphones in Roumieh prison - June 27, 2011

The National News Agency reported on Monday that security forces raided bloc D of Roumieh prison and confiscated eleven cellphones along with their recharge cards.
The report added that the judiciary ordered the confinement of the owners of these cellphones until the investigation ends.
However, it did not elaborate any further.
