The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - One of five escapees is returned to Baabda jail - June 08, 2011

BEIRUT: One of five detainees who broke out of a detention center in Baabda last week was rearrested Tuesday, a security source said.
The source told The Daily Star that Mohammad Hussein, 20, was recaptured near al-Ahed Institute in Ouzai, south of Beirut.
A group of five men escaped the Baabda detention center over the weekend after creating a gap in the iron window grill of their cell. The other four – identified as Ali Naji Hassan, 19, Majid Mohammad Abdo, 21, Yasser Ali Abdullah, 22, and Mohammad Zein Ahmad, 54 – remain at large, according to the source.
