The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan - UN denies 'An Nahar' report on STL indictment preparations - June 04, 2011

A UN spokesperson issued a statement on Friday commenting on a report published in the Lebanese daily 'An Nahar' on preparations prior to releasing the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) indictmint in the assassination of Former Premier Rafik Hariri in 2005.

The statement said that the STL is an independent body and the UN General Secretariat does not have any specific information on dates of indictments or  its content.
