The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Two injured in Beirut refugee camp clash - June 23, 2011

A clash broke out on Thursday in the Sabra Palestinian refugee camp in Beirut, which resulted in the injury of two people.
NOW Lebanon’s correspondent reported that the clash broke out on account of personal reasons.
OTV reported earlier on Thursday that certain people burned tires in the Beirut neighborhood of Tarik al-Jdideh, which is very close to the Sabra camp.
