The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Prostitution ring busted in Corniche al-Mazraa, October 3, 2011

BEIRUT: Members of General Security have busted a prostitution ring in Beirut, the National News Agency reported over the weekend.The security personnel carried out the operation in Corniche al-Mazraa, Beirut, and detained the group of prostitutes, who were all of African nationalities, and their agent, a Lebanese man who carries a foreign passport, the NNA said.The suspects were referred to the relevant judicial authorities, the agency added.
