The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - ISF apprehend criminal gang leader - June 10, 2011

BEIRUT: Internal Security Forces personnel have apprehended the head of a gang of five criminals, who were allegedly involved in the robbery of a vehicle owned by Credit Libanais bank, the National News Agency reported.
The arrest took place Wednesday when ISF members, led by Brig. Charles Ata, raided the ringleader’s hometown of Hour Taala in the Bekaa two days after the gang targeted the vehicle, stealing LL230 million in the process.
