NowLebanon - Samaha’s lawyers say investigation positive, expects his release, August 14 2012

Detained Lebanese ex-Information Minister Michel Samaha’s lawyers said on Monday that the investigation of their client was going “well” and added that if it continues as such they expect Samaha to be released, the National News Agency reported.
The NNA also reported that First Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghida adjourned an interrogation session with Samaha, adding that the former minister was allowed to see his family members in Abu Ghida’s office.
Last week, Lebanese security forces arrested Samaha, who has close ties with Syria's embattled regime, in a case linked to explosives.
On Saturday, Judge Sami Sader charged Samaha and two Syrian army officers with setting up an armed group to incite sectarian strife through “terror attacks.”
